The uninsured face the biggest obstacle in receiving proper diagnosis and care, through no fault of their own. Imagine you or someone you love needing heart surgery, but not being able to pay. With your help, we can give these people hope and the chance to look forward to tomorrow.

Matthew's Story

A letter written by Matthew to Larry King.

"Dear Mr King,

My name is Matthew and I am writing to you on account of a loss. My father has just died recently and I haven't been feeling so great but when I heard about your organization I felt better because then I knew that I could save somebody else's father and make myself feel better knowing that I could save a life and spare a family from the pain that this whole experience has caused me. I really wanted to help so I made things like the "Livestrong" bands but instead of saying "Livestrong" it was red and said "Be smart save a heart". I have had help with my friend Mason and some other people to help me sell them in school. Thank you for taking time to read my letter,
